Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes the types of data Code Way collects when you use the Platform, and how that data is used and protected.

1. Data We Collect

Account data: name, email, phone number (when added), and password (stored hashed and never readable in its original form).

Usage data: purchased courses, your progress through content, login history, and active sessions.

Payment data: card details are never stored on the Platform's servers — they are processed directly by the approved payment gateway (e.g. Paymob) under its own security standards.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide the service: activating course access, tracking progress, issuing certificates where applicable.

To communicate: sending operational emails (account activation, password reset, purchase confirmation, payment alerts).

For security: detecting fraud attempts or unauthorized use.

3. Sharing Data with Third Parties

We share only the minimum data necessary with the payment gateway (to process payments) and the email provider (to send operational emails) — we do not sell your data to any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Data Protection

Passwords are stored hashed, HTTPS is used to secure data in transit, and administrative access to data is limited by role-based access control (RBAC).

5. Your Rights

You can view and update your data from the "Profile" and "Settings" pages, and request account deletion by contacting us.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active, or as required by applicable accounting/tax regulations for payment records.

7. Contact About Privacy

For any question about your data, please reach out via the "Contact us" page.
